NAK SU APPAREL

NAK SU APPAREL was born from founder Nico Lozada's deep passion for Muay Thai – the Art of Eight Limbs. What began as training under Coach Dave Chun at Kaizen MMA in Fairfax, VA, evolved into a 4.5-year journey that would take Nico from Northern Virginia to the sacred training grounds of Thailand.

Inspired by Dave's passionate teaching, Nico began competing at the amateur level and eventually reached the national amateur stage, competing against the country's best fighters. As his love for the sport deepened, so did his hunger to understand its roots. This led him to Thailand – first for six transformative weeks in spring 2024, then another month-long immersion in fall 2025. These trips didn't just teach him authentic Muay Thai; they introduced him to a rich culture and martial arts discipline that would change his perspective forever.

Returning with a profound appreciation for both the sport and Thai culture, Nico recognized an opportunity. While Muay Thai apparel existed, nothing bridged the gap between authentic martial arts heritage and modern streetwear aesthetics. In summer 2025, NAK SU APPAREL LLC was born with a clear mission: Muay Thai Meets Streetwear.

Our name, "Nak Su," translates to "Warrior" in Thai – a title earned through dedication, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of mastery. This ethos is woven into every piece we create.

Launching in fall 2025 with three foundational collections – MUAY KHAO, MUAY FEMUR, and SUPPORT LOCAL FIGHTERS – we began our journey celebrating the distinct fighting styles that define the art. Our designs honor the relentless pressure of the knee fighter and the strategic brilliance of the technical fighter, appealing to practitioners who appreciate the deep history and culture behind these legendary styles.

The SUPPORT LOCAL FIGHTERS collection reflects our commitment to the community. Local fighters receive custom apparel and a portion of proceeds, directly supporting their training, travel, and competition expenses – because we believe in lifting up the warriors who keep this art alive.

Our vision extends far beyond these initial offerings. Future collections will honor the heavy hands of the Muay Mat, the sharp elbows of the Muay Sok, and the powerful kicks of the Muay Tae. We're planning collaborations with professional fighters competing in ONE Championship and Rajadamnern World Series, bringing exclusive drops that connect our community to the highest levels of the sport.

Our designs are bold, often dark, and always intentional. Each piece tells a story, drawing inspiration from techniques, legends, and the unwavering mindset required to excel in the Art of Eight Limbs. We use heavyweight fabrics and durable construction methods to ensure lasting quality.
